Gum Disease Treatment Sherwood & Canby

Control Gum Disease From the Comfort of Your Own Home

Stop the Bleeding With At-home Gum Disease Treatment

80% of American adults have gum disease, also known as periodontal disease. Periodontal disease is an infection of the tissues that hold your teeth in place. The first stage of periodontal disease is gingivitis and the only stage that can be reversed as it has not had time to attack a person’s bones yet. Gum disease can cause red and swollen gums, bleeding gums, bone loss and even tooth loss. It is very important to treat gum disease before it progresses too far. The difference between those who do not suffer long-term damage from gum disease and those who continue to have healthy gums and teeth? Gum disease treatment both in and out of the office.

At Cary Dental, we believe strongly that setting a foundation of oral health is key to a lifetime of smiles. One of the best ways to do this is to be vigilant with your gum health. When experiencing gum disease it must be treated and steps taken to maintain the disease. Scheduling regular periodontal cleanings and exams are one way, but we also offer an in-home treatment known as Perio Protect to supplement in-office treatment.

Perio Protect

An innovative at-home gum disease treatment, Perio Protect uses custom trays and a special gel to help you treat and prevent gum disease.

Perio Protect is one of the best ways to treat gum disease when used in conjunction with more advanced procedures such as scaling and gum grafting.

Your custom-fit Perio Protect trays sit snugly against your gums, helping the special gel reach between your teeth and gums and attack gum disease where it begins. It also whitens your teeth!

Benefits of Perio Protect include:

  • Minimally invasive
  • Easy to use right from your home
  • Quick and effective results
  • Whitens teeth

Smiles & Stories

Smile Makeover

This patient had worn and crooked teeth. Crowns were needed to prevent fractures. Unfortunately, a  misaligned bite would cause the crowns to wear, too. A full mouth rehabilitation, including braces and crowns, was the answer.

Dental Implants & Smile Makeover

This patient’s front teeth were discolored and worn. One tooth was cracked and had to be removed. We used a dental implant and four new crowns to restore her smile.

Orthodontics (Teenager)

This patient came to our office with crowded teeth, a narrow arch, and poor bite. We used Crozat orthodontics and braces to help her jaw grow, creating room for adult teeth and fixing her poor bite.

Dental Implants

This patient was missing her two front teeth. A failing bridge was damaging the supporting teeth. Using two dental implants and four crowns, we restored her smile.

Orthodontics

This patient had extremely crowded teeth, impacted canine, and an overbite. We used Crozat orthodontics and braces to correct her bite and bring the impacted tooth into the correct position.

Dental Implants

This patient had several failing crowns and missing teeth.  Using a combination of dental implants and crowns, we restored his smile and gave him a more youthful appearance.

Braces & Implant

This patient wanted to improve her smile. Her poor bite was causing her teeth to become loose and worn. She also suffered from gum recession. We used invisible braces, a dental implant, and veneers to enhance her smile.

Crowns & Orthodontic

This patient had old crowns, tooth decay, and a poor bite. We corrected her bite with the help of custom orthodontics, which helped her new crowns look better and last longer, too.
