Restore Missing & Damaged Teeth Permanently

What is a Dental Implant?
Dental implants work to replace your tooth’s root. This restorative treatment consists of artificial tooth roots made of biocompatible materials (titanium or ceramic). They become a solid base to support tooth replacement options such as crowns, bridges, or implant-supported dentures.
Dental implants provide the foundation for teeth that have been or may need to be extracted. While the visible part of your tooth is important for the look of your smile, it also has a place in the overall health of your remaining teeth. Losing a tooth causes additional stress on your remaining teeth. It also causes bone loss where the tooth has been removed, which affects your overall oral health.
Benefits of Dental Implants?
- A long-lasting treatment option to replace missing or damaged teeth
- Avoids bone loss and other negative health effects of a missing or damaged tooth
- Custom made to replicate your exact tooth and fit in perfectly with your smile
Who Can Benefit from Dental Implants?

A dental implant is the best way to retain order in your mouth if you are experiencing any sort of missing or unrestorable teeth. If you are dealing with any of the following issues, a dental implant could be the first step towards a full recovery:
- Severely decayed teeth
- Broken or cracked teeth
- Missing tooth

Cary Dental’s Implant Process
Here is what you might expect when undergoing dental treatment:
- Thorough evaluation of your smile, mouth, bite, and jaw bone.
- To prevent bone loss or replace bone already lost, bone grafts will be necessary for the success of the implant.
- A biocompatible implant is placed in the jawbone and allowed to heal.
- A high-tech, tooth-colored dental restoration is then placed over the implant(s).
- For some people with bone loss, additional bone can be added to improve the treatment.
Throughout the entire procedure, we will make sure you feel completely comfortable and feel good about the course of your oral health.
